My studio is across from the Old City of Jerusalem, and almost daily I see the Tower of David, beyond which is the Temple Mount. In this image, the light from the Temple can be seen beyond the tower, even though the Temple itself isn’t there. There is a palpable energy in this place, something more than what can just be seen by the eye. The circular motion of the image presents Jerusalem as the center of the world and of these spiritual energies.
